KM High School of Health Sciences Senior Harrison D. earned his Eagle Scout rank on September 2nd, an honor achieved by only 5% of Scouts. For his Eagle project, he planned, coordinated, and executed a blood drive at his local church. Harrison has earned 21 merit badges and has served in many leadership roles within his troop.

HS^2 9th graders got their turn to do some fun cooking during a fun green day session!
HS^2 students are helping out with the Dousman Elementary Science Fair!
Dousman students traveled to the High School Campus where they tried out different HS^2 student-led experiments (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) to jumpstart ideas for their own individual or collaborative science fair projects and also met with their High School mentors.
Moving forward, the Dousman and HS^2 students will have Google Meet mentoring sessions to work on their projects and prepare for the science fair presentations! We cannot wait to see what the students come up with!

The HS^2 Forensic Science class recently performed autopsies on pickles! Through this process students used scalpels to practice basic autopsy procedures and anatomical vocabulary!

The HS^2 AP Environmental Science students spent time today carving pumpkins! The students used their pumpkins and the seeds inside to analyze patterns of population growth, population survival strategies, and limiting factors!
To promote some friendly competition amongst the HS^2 advisories, the student representatives planned a fun puzzle competition. Advisories all started with the same 500 piece Halloween themed puzzle to work on only during advisory to see who could finish a puzzle first!
AP Psych students spent some time with Play-Doh recently to build brains! Students constructed the brain out of various colors to represent the different parts that they've been learning in class.
